Firing has resumed within the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. An Indian army member was killed during a Pakistani firing.
This was reported during a report within the Times of India on Saturday (November 21).
The shelling continued within the Nowshera sector from Friday (November 20) night to Saturday (November 21) morning, the report said. thanks to which the border was heated.
Earlier, four militants were killed during a shootout between security forces and militants in Jammu’s Nagarota district. They entered the samba sector on Thursday morning with huge arms and ammunition, India claimed.
Five AK-47 and 6 AK-56 rifles were recovered from the victims. Besides, there have been three pistols, one packet of RDX, 20 Chinese hand grenades and 20 kg of explosives.
According to Indian media, the militants were traveling by bus from Jammu to Kashmir. The bus was stopped by the safety forces on suspicion of approaching the highway tract . That’s where the shelling started. Since then, the Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been closed for the nonce .
